Summer UM Church Camp

Community UMC has kicked off a new summer camp initiative.  We are challenging the congregation to provide funding for our youth and children to invite a friend to camp and to provide 100% scholarships to camp for all kids attending!!  In 2014, CUMC provided $200 scholarships and a few 100% scholarships for kids who needed a little more help--with 29 kids attending summer UM church camp.  This year our goal is to send 50 kids to camp on full scholarship! 

We believe it is our commitment to do this if we are serious about "making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world".  

Our kids will be challenged to see themselves as disciples, who are called to reach out to their friends and classmates and to demonstrate extravagant generosity in the process.  Pray for us to be faithful!
