Children's Pen Pal program

Our church participated in a “Pen Pal” program this year that went really well. Members of our congregation were paired with children in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. They wrote back and forth to each other over the course of the Spring semester. We had two parties during Sunday School and let the kids meet their “pal.” It has been amazing to see the relationships between our congregation and our children grow because of this. I was constantly hearing adults share what funny things their kid shared with them and the kids were very excited when they saw their buddy outside of church. What an awesome way to see lives being transformed through people taking the time to write to kids!
