Mission Sunday Plus

March 26 was our annual Mission Sunday, which in reality covered several days!  We engaged persons across generations in a variety of mission-related projects:  Assembling forty health kits for UMCOR; leading and sharing in worship at a local senior residential facility (lots of hymns and singing!); CPR training; and serving dinner to university students through United Campus Ministries, held in our church Fellowship Hall.  All this at the same time that numerous membesr were invovled baking over 900 pasties for a fundraiser; we included outreach information with each pasty order.  We are tired, but we know we felt most alive in the Spirit when we were working to serve others!
