Infant baptism

Due to the baptism of my great-granddaughter, there were 18 guests who do not attend church services regularly.  Our lay minister, Gina, had a very moving message on faith from Romans 10.  It wasn't a shove-it-down-my-throat type of messaage, but a heartfelt invitation for anyone who feels a need for more in their life.  Our regular attendees enjoyed the sermon and the 'visitors' commented on how nice it was.  Our prayers now are for those who visited, although they don't live in the area, that the spirit will stir their thirst for more.  Also for those who do live closer, we can only hope they might return for another helping of the spirit and grace which is offered free to all.  Also, Pastor Cindy (our DS) did a fantastic job of making baby a member of our church family.  We were very pleased to have her and her husband with us.  Our average attendance is 12, we're just a small church but we know God is with us when we gather to worship His holy name.  Blessings to you all..
