Christ's Closet Thrift Store Opens at Wellsville UMPC

On Friday, February 2, 2018 Wellsville United Methodist-Presbyterian Church opened their basement doors to their community in what they are calling "Christ's Closet Thrift Store." This is the brain child of Pastor Dawn Gerard and church member Paula Adams. 

"Christ's Closet Thrift Store is for our friends and neighbors in need in Montgomery County, but especially in Wellsville. We are very excited to offer this to our commuity and it is our desire to help lift the economic burdens of our friends and neighbors by providing new and gently used clothing, shoes, toys, and other household goods to families who are under financial strain," according to Pastor Gerard.

Located in the basement of the church, Christ's Closet will be open every Friday from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm and then from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Donations of new and gently used items are also appreciated and will be accepted on Tuesdays from 7:00 am until 9:00 am, during Christ's Closet hours, or you can contact the church office, (573) 684-2330, to set up a time that works for you.
