Giving to our community and to the world

Doe Run UMC recently contributed to its ongoing missional partnership with the Libertyville UMC to provide food items for the Bismarck Elementary Blessings in a Backpack program. Contributions this month included over 60 toothbrush and toothpaste kits for each child in the program. Total value of the gifts to the backpack program was $270.

Furthermore, the Doe Run UMC donated $275 to Heifer International on their triple match day, December 31st, which tripled our contribution to a valuation of $825 worth of livestock for those needing a helping hand.
