Summer Mission Work at Faith UMC, Dickinson

August 10, 2019 we completed our 14th annual back to school shopping spree. Over 60 households were able to receive free brand new clothing for their school aged children. 

August 16th marked the end of our summer feeding program. As many as 25 children were able to receive free breakfast and lunch throughout the summer via a partnership with the Houston Food Bank and the Galveston County Food Bank. Free breakfast from 9a-10a and lunch from 12p-1p. On Fridays the children would pick up packs to eat over the weekend. The packs had 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 snacks that are able to be prepared easily by children.
