First time attendee

A gentleman who is a cousin of our organist's husband made a decision to attend church and chose Patton UMC. When he introduced himself he asked me to take a selfie with him to prove to his girlfriend that the roof did not fall in and that lightning did not strike him. He has attended faithfully since that day. At times it may seem strange that what brings a person back or makes them feel welcome seems silly or ridiculous to those of us who have been long-time attendees.
