Sharing the Harvest

For the first time in our history the Outreach Committee has asked each family to take a "Share the Harvest" bag home with them, fill it with non-perishable food items, and return it to the church by Sunday, November 24.  The committee will prepare bags of groceries and deliver them to food insecure families in our community the week of Thanksgiving.  We have reached out to the school district, senior citizens group, and town officials for help in identifying families that could use some help. The congregation is very energized by this project which gives them an opportunity to share the blessings they have received from God with others.
