Summer Story Time

Area merchants have stepped up to help sponsor a summer story time at the church.   children will have a story read, play games and enjoy snacks on Thursday afternoons beginning June 13th.  Stories will include lessons on good manners, cooperation, gratitude, helping others, honesty, the dangers of harmful drugs, , etc.  

Volunteers from the church will provide assistance and snacks for children Pre-K through 6th grade. 

Held on Thursdays ,the story time will coincide with the Caring Corner Thrift store hours so it is hoped mothers will shop for items in this free will donation "store" also located in the church.  Anyone is invited to shop and items are available free or with a small donation.  Donations go to help support programs for youth in the community such as the story time and Vacation Bible School which is also scheduled from July 31-August 2.
