Sunday School

Is there any place to list attendance at Sunday School? (also known as Church School). This is a vital part of our ministry and discipleship. Where are these people to be reported? We don't feel comfortable calling such a vibrant community of believers a "small group." Thanks for your input.

The count only once is not feasible for us; I have been counting small group attendance as a separate total from the worship attendance as we have no why of distinguishing who attends worship but not Sunday Schools/small groups or vice versa. We do not wish to create an attendance monitoring committee. We want our attendees to feel free to participate in worship and/or group as they are called.

Indiana Conference has always wanted Sunday School numbers. It should be on the dashboard since records are being kept and reported anyway.

I haven't been reporting SS as a small group. Shall I start now that I know if should be counted?

Thanks for your inquiry! As a general rule, we are asking people to include the Sunday School classes as small groups. It doesn't diminish the importance of SS at all! I'm sorry, but within the VitalSigns Dashboard, we do not have a separate category for SS.
