Pastor Hinkle gave a sermon on his vision for revival in Louisville that started preparation for Revival in Stark County.

Acts 2:36

"Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah."

JESUS WENT UP!

Acts 2:38B

"And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.."

THE HOLY SPIRIT CAME DOWN!

Acts 2:39

The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off --for all whom the Lord our God will call."

AND THE DISCIPLES WENT OUT!

After much prayer and intercession Pastor Hinkle had the church start praying Holy Spirit, Unite Your Body and Breathe Life! 

Instead of having a church council meeting we had a leadership meeting on Spiritual Gifts and our Agape Worship Pastor started a series on Spiritual Gifts by interviewing those who scored high on a spiritual gift test in specific areas. Our Connections Director sent an email to all those who expressed interest in knowing what their strengths are.

We had 2 gentleman come from REVIVE Indiana and tell us our Revive Louisville goal was too small. We needed to lead a REVIVE Stark County.

Pastor Hinkle and his wife Cathy attended REVIVE Dallas for 10 days and were blown away that 350 churches in the Dallas Fort Worth area came together to REVIVE Texas. 

Pastor Hinkle wants this to happen in Stark County. An opportunity  to love, listen, discern, and pray for people out in ther community. 

Then Pastor Hinkle asked everyone who was praying to pray this prayer every time they pass a church. Holy Spirit, Unite Your Body and Breathe Life!

Then Pastor Hinkle handed a small group leader a study named Prayer Circles by Mark Batterson. The prayer group made a map of all churches in Louisville, Paris Township and East Canton. Every church was visited by small group and prayed for. Since the group has started praying at 60 other church campuses in and around Stark County.

We give thanks for every church.

We pray for the pastor or Lay leader.

We pray for the unsaved.

We pray for the teams, committees, leadership.

We pray for their ministries.

We pray for their children and adult congregation. We pray that their light would shine so bright that others would see their light and be attracted to theChrist within. That Christ would get all the glory.

We pray for what their part is in their community.

The biggest part of our prayer is the the walls and barriers in the church be torn down and traditions would be set aside so that the body may unite as one and do what the Great Commission says: Go tell someone.

Please pray and speak with your leadership, maybe we could do a REVIVE OHIO for the East Ohio Conference.
