Collaboration with Community Project

An exciting week at Larned UMC.  We hosted a dinner and meeting for Circles.  Circles is a new program that will be implemented in our community.  It is designed to walk with families as they raise themselves out of poverty and change their lives.  Those in attendance represented serveral area churches.  Pastor Bethann has worked with this program in other communities and witnessed the success.  She was instrumental in initiating the program.

We also had a Leadership Training afternoon.  Pastor Bethann and our new  Church Council Chairperson led the session.  New leaders gained knowledge related to their respective responsibilities and each team established 3 goals to complete in 2018.
