Local Ministry Supports Global Ministy.

The Larned United Methodist Church operates the "Budget Shop."  All of the items for sale have been donated.  The community is able to purchase clothing and household items for very reasonable prices.  The money received from this shop is used primarily for mission work done by the UMW.  In the spring and fall all clothing is replaced with what is appropriate for the up-coming season.  We are fortunate to have an Orphan Grain Train collection station in our community.  All clothing removed from the Budget Shop is donated to the Orphan Grain Train and is shipped overseas to meet the needs of those living in poverty.
