New upcyling project

Our Comforters Sewing Group starting recycling plastic bags into mats and bags for Wichita's homeless this year, and have now found an additional way to use their talents: duffel bags for foster kids. Bethany has embraced this project wholeheartedly and the ladies are kept well supplied with plastic bags! In addition, our use of the newsletter and Facebook to spread the word about this project has brought in new people from the community to donate used bags. We're working hard on outreach to these individuals who've heard about us through this project in hopes of taking them from visitor/donator to member!
