Mission Readiness

Our church family got the call to serve and supply Americorp volunteers who are helping flood victims in our region. It was late Saturday evening when we found out, and yet in less than twelve hours we collected enough food for a few days. We also had a team of volunteers, including children, who made the drive to serve a meal and restock the kitchen for the volenteers. That gave us all great joy, but there is another glory sighting that happened. A person who had been shying away from church came back for this, and was reminded how much her church loves her.
