Tailgate Fiesta Sunday

On Sept. 15 we held our annual Tailgate Fiesta Sunday.  It is a neighborhood community outreach event we have done for the past 3 years.  Our worship service is held outside the church in our large parking lot.  Following worship, we host a local group of young dancers, Raices Hispanas Baile Folklorico, who perform for us.  They are always a big hit.  After the dancers we have an open lunch, free to everyone, provided by the church.  We also have games and prizes for children.  This is a major neighborhood outreach mission for Grace UMC and we always draw local people from our neighborhood who would not normally attend a worship service.
