Church Activity

There were a total of 55 adults, youth & children in Sunday School on Sunday, July 23.

We sent 10 youth to Institute at Baker University last week. All those who attended reported that it was a great opportunity and a phenominal experience.

We have 2 youth on a mission trip in Osage Nation, OK through Youthworks this week. They are being accompanied there by our youth director.

One of our women's links (Boomer Link) met for their monthly meeting on Monday, July 17th. Meetings are held in different members homes. No report on how many were in attendance for this event.

One of our women's links (Today's Concers) met for breakfast on Tuesday, July 18th. No report on how many were in attendance for this event.

A Bible Study on the Apocrypha is being held each Monday morning at 9:30am. There have been 2 members in attendance.

A Young Adult Bible Study is being held on various days of the evening. We have no report on how many have been in attendance.

Our Church & Society committee met on Tuesday, July 18th at the Murray Hill Apts. here in Chanute. The committee meets there once a month and provides desserts and entertainment to the residents there. No report on how many were in attendance for this event.

Our Evangelism Committee hosted a "Family NIght at the Pool" on Sunday, July 24th. There was an attendance of well over 100 for this event. Members of the committee also provided free popsicles to all who were in attendance. Information regarding our church service times and activities was available to all who were in attendance.
