The mouthpiece

With the COVID 19 virus and services cancelled. I felt somewhat useless. As I am not technically inclined and doing a livestream seems over my head. Also it is not an option for many of my elderly rural congregation without internet access. I decided since we do have a facebook page just to write out my sermon and post to the page. The response has given me great hope in this time of calamity. There has been many comments about the sermon and encouragement for this to continue even beyond the virus. There are people on our social media who have not been to church for a variety of reason over the years but they are reading and commenting. They have shared with others on their own page and I see an excitement within the dynamics of the written word. One lady shared with her friends and family in Louisiana. God will has His way even in the midst of what seems like a horrid storm if we not only become His hands and feet but His mouthpiece in whatever form we can.  My regular worship attendance at all of my small churches is barely 50 combined. But in the last 2 weeks the people who have read the posted sermons has been 88 with multiple shares to other personal pages. I have also delivered and mailed paper copies to members without internet.Beween the 2  we have reached over 100 people which is very exciting in this rural portion of the state. All I can say is God has left the building and the disciples have been deployed!
