WESLEY UMC SHARING THE LOVE OF CHRIST

Wesley UMC has been very engaged in ministry and outreach these past week two weeks. 1) Prison Angel Tree Miinistry:  Over 85 Angels have been adopted by members and their friends.  This ministry will culminate with a Christmas Party for these children on December 20.  Wesley folks and their children will hostess this event and there will be an opportunity to share the Love of Christ as the children and their family members enjoy refreshments, activities and witness the joy behind the "reason for the season".  2)Wesley members participated in a Caroling Event visiting homes of shut-ins and others who needed to know someone cared for them. Candy Cane bouquets, which were made by Wesley children, were presented to these individuals  and  all enjoyed a time of visitation and fellowship one with another.  3) 400 plus door hangers were distributed through the community by Wesley folks.  These door hangers offered an opportunity to speak to those individuals who were home and also to invite the community to visit Wesley church.  A special invitation to attend the Christmas worship services was extended to all.
