Fall Festival

Independence Riverview has sponsored a fall festival at our church for about 10 years.  We have games and crafts for the kids.  Finger foods for everyone.  The community is invited.  We have a hayride that is always a lot of fun.  This year 17 adults and 10 children attended.  It was a beautiful afternoon.   We use it as an outreach to the community.  People who may not attend a church will come to our church functions for food, fellowship and fun.  We all have a good time and build relationships for Christ.

This year children painted small pumpkins and made slime.  They had a wonderful time.  Hot dogs, chips and lots of other finger foods were served.  It is an inexpensive, simple time of fostering togetherness and spreading the Gospel through love and caring.
