VBS Program Sunday

We were blessed this past Sunday! Pastor took the opportunity of the VBS program to involve our youth and young adults in the morning worship service. The sermon was delivered by some of our young folks, who gave an inspired and moving message on why Jesus is their hero. We had youth lead everything from our Call to Worship to the Lord's Prayer to the scripture reading, and it was such a blessing! Another of our middle-school youth was the official photographer for VBS weekend. From the mouths of babes this week we heard amazing feedback; one of our older participants, who regularly attends a Lutheran church, asked how she could learn more about Jesus! We feel that the mission of the church was met with these young people this weekend and we are so thankful.
