Butterfly Club success

Our Butterfly Garden program is growing! The children are really enjoying the opportunity to get up close with bugs and plants, and they're learning SO much about God's creation. We currently have 6 Swallowtails and 10 Monarchs in chrysalis and expect to release them in mid-August. Before we release the Monarchs, we'll be fitting them with tiny tags to help track the migration; next spring, we'll be able to kick off the new season of Butterfly Club by checking the national database to see if any of our guys made it to Mexico! 

The congregation has really caught the spirit of butterfly transformation; we're moving forward with a number of projects that have been on the back burner for lack of a team to lead. Our Reaching New Neighbors Team (formerly Evangelism) has really stepped up! "I Love My Church" tshirts are on the way and we'll be encouraging congregation members to wear them at our upcoming Block Party. So much excitement at Bethany!
