Food Pantry

We will have completed three Mobile Food Pantries in conjunction with the First Christian Church by the end of October. We have a monthly Food Pantry at 1st UMC and MidSouth Food Bank requested that we host a mobile food pantry with donated funds (Catapillar Corp). The parking lot at 1st Christian was better suited to a Mobile Food Pantry and it was an opportunity for the churches to work together to help those in need in our community. It has been a great blessing to our churches and greater to our Food Pantry clients. The extra food has lifted their spirits and provided additional fresh food for their consumption. This has been a phenominal experience for all involved. It has increased participation in our Food Pantry.
