Pancake supper and Ash Wednesday

In a recent Church Council meeting, one member suggested a pancake supper for Shrove Tuesday. Members invited friends who are members of the local Anglican church. Our Overcomers Outreach group joined in after their meeting. Attendance was good, the pancakes and sides were great, and a good time was had by all. The next evening a few of us went to the Anglican church for their Ash Wednesday service. Neither church has to do it all, we can each do what we do best.
