Trying Time For the United Church of Bennington

Trying times are upon the church right now. Church history has repeated itself again. The COVID-19 has made us to be where we are today. When this crisis begun, most church members thought it was going to vanish quickly. Surprisingly, we are here bound within the situation. Most of the UCB members stayed home this Sunday. They had the sermon: "God on our side..." recorded on Facebook live, YouTube, and the church website. The printed copies of the sermon were emailed to most of the church members, while some members picked copies at the church office. Most members are sending their checks of offering and tithes via mail. Giving is going on as usual. Prayers chains are done within the church too. 

The church plans to serve meals to the community -through drive in through. The committee on Health and Wellness working on that. Mosre plans underway for the Plam Sunday and Easter. We keep praying for the church around the globe.
