Missions Ministry at Perseverance Chapel UMC

The missions ministry at Perseverance Chapel UMC continues to be strong in spite of many Covid19 hurdles and setbacks. The congregation has not allowed Covid to minimize our endeavors; we have worked diligently to provide goods and services to those less fortunate in and outside of the community; the church's strong missions focus has also led others to assist and be a part of our ministry and we applaud the many who have supported our endeavors. This week alone, as the missions team prepares for our annual Red Bird Missions/Henderson Settlement mission trip, we have received several gifts from various supporters who are not even church members but wish to help: dental supplies, hygiene supplies, books, blankets, toys, and $300.00 in cash.  Not only are we assisting those in the Appalachia Mountains but we are allowing others in our community but who are not church members to share their gifts and be a part of God's ministry.  Our missions team at Perseverance is very small, comprised of 10 - 15 seniors (age 65-85) but we get much accomplished; each year our accomplishments and assistance to others grow...and the assistance from others to share in our ministry continues to grow! We have continued in 2020 to share God's love through fund raising projects and missions in spite of mandates, changes, shut downs, etc.; this is what we at Perseverance Chapel UMC believe that God and His Holy Word teach us to do. We shall continue to share God thru our love of missions...

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD. AND WE SHALL BE HIS WITNESSES!
