trying something new

The biggest successes we had this year came from being forced to try something new.

Our attendance significantly increased, entirely attributable to our integration of online worship. Even during the relatively few weeks we were able to worship in person, we continued to offer online worship via Zoom and Facebook and this has very significantly increased worship attendance, including new young families. We have been expanding how we do online worship and are prayerful that this helps reach those otherwise unreached.

We have no Sunday school, but we have a successful community nursery school -- so we started offering Sunday school in the middle of the week. Six children participate, their families are thrilled and engaged, and five of these are otherwise uninvolved with the congregation. We never would have considered this if we had chidlren in worship, and now we are reaching new families.
