On the fourth of July our congregation handed out bottles of cold water at the community fourth of july parade. Our facilities are in the middle of the parade route so about 20 volunteers set up a table and sunshade and handed out over 280 bottles of water along with information about our church, to folks as they waited for the parade to begin. After the parade began we continued to hand out bottles of water as folks asked for them. We also gave water to parade particapants as they passed by. In addition one of our members brought a 1928 fire truck and parked it by the church for people to look at. We distributed close to 200 brochures to folks about our congregation.
