Work Days to spruce up the Church

On May 19th and 20th we had work days to organize and spruce up our church.  We are generally an older congragation and it was very uplifting to have so many people show up and pitch in.  Windows got washed, closets got organized, the entire church was gone through and a pickup truck worth of items were donated to the Willits Senior Center, and a pickup truck worth of items taken to the dumps.  It is wonderful how much a good spring cleaning/organizing can uplift our church.  We found things that we thought were gone like the cheerful table cloths for our Fellowship Hall and now we have so much more room to function in and it has brighten up and livened up our church.  People have been energized and excited about us taking care of our church.
