Blessings

Bethany is proud to be the host site for the South Central Neighborhood Association, a very active local group with which we are well connected, and at the last meeting we were blessed to welcome Wichita Police Chief Gordon Ramsay. Our church continues to send cards and prayers as a mission of love for a local police officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty this year. 

We have found renewed energy in an unexpected place: earlier this summer, we began a butterfly club for our children, and the adults have really gotten into it! We planted a butterfly garden outside and got registered as a nationally-certified Monarch Waystation; the children help care for the garden and Monarch caterpillars, which we then release after they transform. What was intended as a summer project to replace children's church has become a church-wide movement! The energy is contagious and exciting, and we can't wait to see where it will lead.
