Oakman-Ranger UMC 126th Anniversary Homecoming

Our 125th anniversary was a great success last year in that a good number of former members and 6 former pastors now attending churches closer to their homes were present for the Worship and Festival Dinmner. So. we are planning to host our 126th anniversary this year by tradition on the second Sunday in July, the 9th.

For this small congregation, present average attendance about 15, we can see the Spirit working in that virtually everyone has volunteered for a specific job and the other few are ready for any need.    Many are calling friends and former members to advertise the event and nearly everyone is bringing some special dish for the meal.   We have not been aware of any complaints about the tasks folks have accepted as all seem to be quite excited about the event.
