Young Families, Youth in Leadeship, Leadership Training

At Larned United Methodist we witness God's blessings every day.  On Sunday we had 2 new families attend with young children, two in one family and four in the other.  In the past 5 years we have strived to make the church more kid friendly and welcome families with small childen.  Babies crying during worship is a blessing to us.  Our number of young families is growing.

We have high school boys leading Children's Church.  They are eager to grow in their own faith and to help the children learn about Jesus.  This is pretty amazing for teen-age boys.

Pastor Bethann and the Church Council Chair provided leadership training for everyone in a leadership role.  It is beneficial for those already serving to review their roles and responsibilites and new leaders were provided with instruction to facilitate their assimilation into their assigned ministry teams.  Each Ministry Team developed three goals to accomplish in 2018.
