Day of Prayer

The Lighthouse Prayer Group organized a Day of Prayer held on Thursday during Holy Week. The day begins at 8 am and ends at 8 pm. There is a sheet for people to sign their name for a 1/2 hour time of prayer. There are 24 - 1/2 hour spots that are filled. As each person enters the sanctuary they may stop and partake in self communion before going on up to the front of the sanctuary. They have the sanctuary all to themselves to reflect and pray. A list of names is available of people who have asked for prayer for whatever reason. This list may be used so each person on the list may be lifted up to the Lord in prayer. This day is well received for anyone who wants to have a one-on-one prayer time with the Lord. Light refreshments are available in Fellowship Hall as each person leaves. The Lighthouse Prayer Group oversees the Day of Prayer twice a year.
