Thanks to all the helping hands! On Saturday we had 19 people helping peel, cut, and core 10 bushels of apples. On Sunday we had 19 in our outdoor worship and we had a total of 22 people helping to cook and jar the 261 pint jars of Apple Butter. Apple Butter Making has been a tradition at Lewis Memorial every year since 1939. That's a long history. Apple Butter is $6 a pint. The Pastor is now officiallly no longer a novice at Making Apple Butter. Church members, relatives, and other friends joined together to make this event successful. God is good and the rain waited both days untl the work was finished. The unity, friendships, and conversations throughout the two day event were healing, loving, and caring for each other.
