Reaffirmation

A couple who had been out of church for years returned to church.  At the invitation they husband and wife came to the altar to pray and recommit their lives to Jesus.  It was a very touching moment for the congregation to see them in the worship service, but to also make a public declaration by coming to the altar in prayer.  This was a dramatic turn around for this family.  

Also, a visitor who has been attending our church for a month called me on my cell phone on Sunday morning, while I was driving to church, and told me that she was sick and couldn't come, but she assured me that she would return next week when she felt better.  I took her telephone call as a sign that she is really interested in our church.  

The Holy Spirit blessed our church on Sunday, February 3, 2019!
