Healing Service

Sunday's service was a magnificent testimony to our faith in our Lord God.  What is our faith built upon?  Do we really trust in God?  What is our belief?  Are we able to give it over to God and KNOW He will take care of us?  Just how deep is our faith?  This service was so meaningful and moving.  To see so many people answer the pastor's altar call was stirring.  No matter what our cirumstance or situation, people still know that we have a God waiting to hear from us.  I think that is why I love Lincoln's words when he said he got down on his knees many times because he had no where else to go.  Sometimes it is good for us to remember we have someplace to go--He will take care of us if we could just learn to really trust in Him--to worship Him and to read His word.  He does speak to us. Are we listening or do we have our own agenda?  There is a spiritual side to man that calls out to be met.  Coming together to read and learn from  the bible, to worship the Lord, to pray together to increase our belief and trust in Him teaches us to lead a Christian life.  This was a powerful service because it spoke about the Lord and that He does say "Come to Me." People are searching--He is waiting and He is there and will be there for us.    People need to hear this.  It was just a great service.
