Memorial Day Service

Oakland hosts a Memorial Day Service at 8:00a at the entrance of the Oakland Cemetary directly across the street from the church. There will be people coming to acknowledge and remember the service their loved ones and others have done for our country. There is often a bugler, local politician or two, and a representative from the veteran community to provide the history, prayers, and recognition to those in attendance. Since many of the men and women at Oakland and those in the cemetary have had lives in the military this service is very personal for them and for the community of Holland, AR.
