Little Missouri UMC in Chidester sponsored a Public Prayer Service. The Mayor of Camden who is also a Pastor came along with his wife and Co-Pastor of Kionia Church of God, County Judge McAdoo joined us by phone as he was unable to attend in person. Red Hill, Bell Chapel and Rushing UMC had representatives present as well as Cullendale Baptist Church in Camden. A prayer was presented by Pastor Pam Lee and she shared the podium with Bishop/Pastor Lott. The service was very inspiring and prayers for unity, the leaders in all aspects of government, and those who need physical healing from COVID or other diseases were prayed about. The attendees were excited and some gave testimony that prayer was just what they needed. Also the 3 congregations of Bell Chapel charge will participate in feeding families in the community for Thanksgiving. Little Missouri is heading the activities for the meal and also are planning to donate health kits and hygiene supplies along with Christmas gifts to the Women's crisis center. They are small in number but big in heart.
