Hope Found NEA

Our church has become more engaged in community outreach recently. They have been stirred to make themselves and the community aware of activity  that concern all. This past week we invited members of the city and school to come join us for training/information on identifying Human Trafficking. Hope Found of Northeast Arkansas is an organization that educates citizens, police, students and any interested person about the reality of Human trafficking. We served lunch for school officials, students and police officers as well as our UMW following the training. It was well received by all. We have scheduled another event to follow that with allow more participants to come in the evening. Student Council members from the school who attended told some of our ladies that they had concerns about some of their friends. The ladies made school officials aware. Our UMW shows a deep concern for things that affect society that have often been overlooked. They are growing spiritually by looking through the eyes of Jesus and becoming more aware that times have changed.
