Tribute to Veterans

Mt Zion UMC Older Adult Ministry sponsored its third annual tribute to veterans this week.  It was, again, a huge success.  Several veterans from the community came out and were honored with a very heart warming message from a local retired veteran and patriotic and other inspirational music by a very talented community member.   Additionally, the veterans were provided with the traditional Thanksgiving meal donated and prepared by members of Mt. Zion and were presented door prizes, which were donated by area merchants.
