Health Fair - serving the community, serving God ... warming our hearts

On Saturday, August 1, 2015, we held our annual Health Fair, and once again, neither the weather, the attendance, nor the overall generosity of spirit did not disappoint.  Approximately 400 persons from within the community were served.  In addition to a wealth of information, various health screenings were offered, flu shots were given, and back-to-school supplies were distributed.  Each year, in spite of its success, we still assess the Health Fair after it is over to see what can be done even better or what else should or could be offered.  It warms our hearts greatly to be able to serve so many people, blessing them with the resources with which God has blessed us.  The Health Fair is also a wonderful time of year for us because it gives all ministries and age levels in the church a chance to participate.
