Tenth Street Hosts Training Class for UMCOR Case Manager Assistants

Tenth Street will host a training class in its building on Wednesday -Friday of this week, August 19-21. The class, taught by Rev. Laraine Waughthal and others, is offered by UMCOR disaster relief to train volunteer case manager assistants to assist the case manager assigned by UMCOR to work with flood victims in our area. The class is free and open to the public. Several of our church members are taking the class. Beginning on August 24th, Tenth Street will provide office space for the UMCOR Case manager and her assistant to meet with clients over the next year.
