Feeding the hungry

This church has been very active in delivering meals on wheels in our community as well as being the hands and feet of Christ that serve at the monthly when the Capital Area Mobile Pantry rolls into town.

Beginning in February, FUMC Mart began taking our feeding ministries to a new level. Many in the food line would skip over wholesome foods because "they didn't know what to do with it" and a new ministry came from that. Once a month, FUMC Mart is serving a free meal to anyone in the community who wants to come. Included are ways to use those ingredients in easy ways that they can do for themselves, and a little food for the soul is included as we try to minister not just to their stomachs but minds and souls as well.
