Ecumenical Relationships

A member of First United Methodist Church in La Feria, who is a member of the United Methodsist Men, has connected with a non-denomonational church in Weslaco, Texas near La Feria to assist in the U.M.M.'s mission at La Feria in conjunction with the U.M. Army to repair rooofs in the area. La Feria F.U.M.C. has also taken on the responsibility to be the contact and coordinating body in Cameron County for the Texas RampProject. We have participated in three ramp projects since July 1st and a group of men at First Baptist La Feria, Texas want to join us in this endeavor.
