Serving Church Under the Bridge

On February 28 we had 17 members of St. Philip's along with 5 children serve at Church Under the Bridge.  We helped with setup and takedown of the church service as well as served food and drinks to the homeless population of downtown Austin.  A lot of our ministry there was just talking and providing a friendly ear to people who were looking for a human connection.  It was a great experience for our congregation to grown in their empathy for those in poverty and homelessness.
