Community Dinner

On FRi. March 11th we served a free community chicken and biscuit dinner to 130 people. $800 was raised through donations that evening, which will be used to defray the costs of the Waverly Community Garden that is being built to the rear of the church. All produce raised will be donated to local food pantries and families in need, in the community. The community, scout groups, and other area groups are being invited to help in building, planting, caring for and harvesting the garden.
