local family that lost everything; grief ministry

Our church is collecting items for a local family who had to leave their home with nothing. We are collecting furniture, dishes, appliances, etc. We also began a new ministry for people who have lost a loved one. Our first session was last week, with ten people from the church and community in attendance. Everyone was so grateful for an opportunity their stories of loss with others who understand. We believe that this program will be beneficial to so many in our midst. We continue to mail bulletins and greeting cards to our home-bound members, and home visits continue to be made regularly.
