Fall Festival in conjunction with the First Baptist Church of Poteet

On Saturday, October 29, 2016, a group of eight Poteet First United Methdist participated in a Fall Festival hosted by Poteet First Baptist Church.  The group handed out goodie bags that were put together by Loramae Howell.  The bags contained tootsie rolls and a red ballon that said "Jesus loves you" First United Methodist Church.  Pastor Dave and the youth, Zachary and Danielle Howel, worked the Fishing Booths.  As the children threw their fishing lines over the screen they would attach one of the goodie bags to the clip.  Several other members helped where they were needed.  The group had a great time sharing the love of Christ with our neigborhood children.
