Helping in the Community

This church with 45 average attendance has raised the money and shopped for Christmas presents for 26 children in our community who otherwise would have had little to no Christmas. They will also be providing Christmas dinner for those familes. One of the families received gifts this weekend. It was a couple with a two-month old child of their own who had also taken in three other children ranging from six to ten years old after their "mother was unable to care for them anymore." The church and the preschool have worked hard to shop for gifts, get monetary help from friends in the community and deliver Christmas cheer to needy families in Cherokee County. God has blessed this church in a might way and has seen fit to help them be a blessing in the greater community.
